Tottenham Hotspur thumped Queens Park Rangers 4-0 in their Premier League clash at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
The home side had a half-chance inside one minute when Erik Lamela broke into the QPR box, but his effort was deflected wide of the post, before the resulting corner was cleared by Harry Redknapp's side.
Spurs were ahead after 12 minutes when Nacer Chadli collected a cross from Emmanuel Adebayor before lifting his effort over the QPR stopper with ease.
Adebayor came close himself five minutes later after a mistake in the QPR defence, but the striker's effort was straight at Rob Green during an untidy period of the match for the visitors.
QPR had a golden chance of their own after 21 minutes when Matty Phillips raced into the Spurs box, he managed to sit Hugo Lloris on the ground, but chipped his effort over the crossbar.
Minutes later, Spurs rattled the crossbar through a Christian Eriksen free kick. The home team were not to be denied a second, however, with Eric Dier thumping a header into the top corner after 30 minutes.
Spurs then had a third on 37 minutes when Chadli headed a cross from the impressive Lamela into the net.
Both sides had half chances in the early stages of the second period, with Lamela firing high and wide for Spurs before Steven Caulker planted a header high of the crossbar.
The home side continued to create chances as the match approached the hour mark, with Eriksen twice coming close to finding the back of the net after finding space inside the QPR box.
Spurs had their fourth after 65 minutes when Adebayor converted a low cross from Danny Rose.
QPR again threatened through Caulker with little over 10 minutes remaining, but his effort was straight at Lloris.
Bobby Zamora had an even better chance for the away side late on, but fired high and wide from close range, before Caulker once again followed suit in the final minute.
