Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest have announced their first XIs for Easter Monday's Premier League game in North London.

On the back of two successive defeats, Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo had plenty to ponder ahead of facing his former side.

The Portuguese has taken the decision to make as many as three changes, including handing a recall to winger Anthony Elanga.

Danilo has been restored in central midfield, while Harry Toffolo is provided with a surprise start at left-back.

Alex Moreno and Callum Hudson-Odoi have dropped down to the substitutes' bench, with Jota Silva missing out on a place in the squad.

Nicolas Dominguez could find himself being deployed in a more advanced role than usual, potentially down one of the flanks providing that Morgan Gibbs-White remains in the number 10 position.

Spurs makes five changes

Meanwhile, Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou has made a total of five alterations to the team that started the 1-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Djed Spence has been recalled at left-back, taking the place of Destiny Udogie, while Pape Sarr has returned in midfield at the expense of Lucas Bergvall.

With James Maddison only being selected among the replacements, Dejan Kulusevski is selected in a creative midfield role, with two further changes coming in attack.

Wilson Odobert and Richarlison have taken the places of Brennan Johnson and Dominic Solanke.

Subs: Kinsky, Davies, Danso, Gray, Bissouma, Bergvall, Maddison, Johnson, Solanke
