Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto has joined Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne on a one-year deal.
The 31-year-old had been a free agent after being released by Spurs in February following nine years at White Hart Lane.
The Cameroon international did not play at all for the North London outfit last season prior to his departure.
Assou-Ekotto made 155 appearances for Spurs.
