Atletico Madrid 'winning race for Dani Olmo'

:Headline: Atletico Madrid 'winning race for Dani Olmo':
Atletico Madrid are allegedly regarded as the frontrunners to sign Dinamo Zagreb winger Dani Olmo during the January transfer window.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly prepared to make an official approach for Dinamo Zagreb winger Dani Olmo.

While plying his trade in Croatia, the Spain Under-21 international has only enhanced his reputation ahead of an expected transfer to a bigger club in the future.

Several teams in the Premier League - including Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers - have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old over the past six months.

However, according to reports in his homeland, Atletico are attempting to wrap up a deal for the playmaker in the January window.

There is a suggestion that Diego Simeone wants to sign Olmo before Real Madrid and Barcelona are in a position to make their own efforts to sign the prospect.

The report adds that Atletico are prepared to pay in the region of €35m (£29.95m). body check tags ::
