Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that the club do not need to spend big in the upcoming January transfer window.
The North London side have been heavily linked with a move for out-of-favour Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder, but Villas-Boas is content with the squad at his disposal.
The Portuguese coach told reporters: "It's very unlikely we will do anything in the window."
When pressed about a move for Dutchman Sneijder, Villas-Boas cooled the speculation, claiming that it 'isn't true'.
Spurs can consolidate fourth place in the Premier League with victory at Sunderland in the top flight's early kickoff later this afternoon.
