Barcelona are reportedly keen to offload four players before they depart for their pre-season tour of the United States on Wednesday.
The La Liga champions have strengthened their squad this summer with the additions of Inigo Martinez and Ilkay Gundogan on free transfers.
They have also reached an agreement to sign Brazilian youngster Vitor Roque, who will join the club in the summer of 2024 from Athletico Paranaense.
However, if Barcelona are to make further additions then they may need to sanction a number of departures due to their poor financial situation.
The Catalan giants have already seen the experienced duo of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba head through the exit door following the expiry of their respective contracts.
French defender Samuel Umtiti has also left the club after his contract was terminated three years early, and the departures are not expected to stop there.
According to Diario AS, Barcelona are looking to offload Clement Lenglet, Sergino Dest, Franck Kessie and Alex Collado before they leave for their pre-season tour of the USA on Wednesday.
Lenglet spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, where he made 35 appearances across all competitions.
The former Sevilla defender has been linked with a return to the North London club, however, it remains to be seen whether or not a permanent move will come to fruition.
Dest also spent last season out on loan, but he struggled to make a significant impression during his temporary spell with Italian giants AC Milan.
The USA international, who featured on just 14 occasions for AC Milan, has indicated that he is keen to remain with Barcelona.
However, there is a belief that Barcelona would prefer to sell the 22-year-old, while another loan deal would also be considered.
Kessie, meanwhile, could be set to depart just a year after joining the club, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Juventus are set to discuss a potential deal.
The Ivory Coast international, who has three years left on his contract, wants to stay at Barcelona or complete a move to the Premier League.
As for Collado, he is expected to be moved on after returning from a season-long loan with Elche, where he registered one goal and one assist in 15 games. body check tags ::
