Bristol City have signed their second player of the summer with the addition of defender Ryan Fredericks from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee.
The League One champions have largely kept the faith in the squad that stormed to promotion last term, with 22-year-old Fredericks signing a three-year deal and following only Jonathan Kodjia in moving to Ashton Gate.
Speaking about his new signing, Robins boss Steve Cotterill told the club website: "There was certainly a fair bit of competition for his signature from a number of other Championship clubs.
"He'll provide us with lots of pace in an area where we needed more competition; that wing-back role is a hard shift game after game over the course of the season."
Fredericks, who made just four appearances for Spurs, spent last season on loan in the Championship with Middlesbrough.
