Cardiff City have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen as a potential January signing.
Manager Neil Warnock has suggested that the Bluebirds are not in the market for a new striker, despite the club being left short in the position after the disappearance of Emiliano Sala.
However, according to The Sun, Cardiff are considering whether to launch an approach for the out-of-favour Janssen, who will be allowed to leave Spurs on Thursday.
Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that the Netherlands international does not feature in his plans going forward, and that has allegedly led to interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley and Real Betis.
Janssen is said to be valued in the region of £12m, although Spurs may consider a loan exit at this stage of the transfer window.
