Celtic are reportedly attempting to secure a reunion with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The Kenya international first made an impression in British football at the Glasgow giants, featuring on 91 occasions in all competitions across two years and producing an eye-catching performance against Barcelona in the Champions League.
However, the 28-year-old's stock has lowered at Spurs, with the North London outfit doing everything that they can to get the player off the wage bill before the end of January.
According to the Evening Standard, Celtic have expressed an interest in loaning Wanyama, providing that Spurs continue to pay a portion of his wages.
A previous report has suggested that Fiorentina, Bayer Leverkusen, Rennes and Strasbourg have also indicated that they want to conclude a deal on Friday.
Wanyama has only made one substitute appearance for Spurs since the end of September.
