Nacer Chadli has decided against seeking a loan move away from Tottenham Hotspur in a bid to fight for his place, according to his agent Daniel Evrard.
It had been claimed that the 25-year-old wanted to leave White Hart Lane for a short-term loan in order to boost his World Cup chances with Belgium.
However, it appears that Chadli, who moved to the North London outfit for a reported £7m in the summer, wants to win back a starting spot.
"Nacer has been thinking about a loan but after a good conversation with the club, we have decided to stay," London Evening Standard quotes Evrard as saying. "Spurs is still the best choice."
Chadli signed for Tottenham from FC Twente.
