Inter Milan are reportedly hopeful of completing a deal for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen on Monday.
The 27-year-old, who will see his contract with Jose Mourinho's side expire at the end of the campaign, continues to be strongly linked with a move to San Siro.
Eriksen was not involved in Tottenham's FA Cup clash with Southampton on Saturday afternoon amid suggestions that he is closing in on a switch to Italy.
According to BBC Sport, Antonio Conte's side hope to officially announce the Denmark international on Monday with the Serie A giants agreeing to pay a fee of around £17m in order to sign the former Ajax youngster during the January transfer window.
Eriksen, who has also been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona, has only scored twice in 20 Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
Inter have already signed two players from the Premier League this month with Ashley Young and Victor Moses arriving from Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.
