Manchester City have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.
The 23-year-old has been strongly linked with a host of European clubs, with Tottenham Hotspur understood to lead the race for the Brazilian.
However, reports in Brazil have claimed that City will make a move for the striker when the January transfer window opens.
Damiao scored 38 goals for Internacional last season.
