Internacional striker Leandro Damiao has admitted that it is his "dream" to join a European club.
The 23-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best striking talents in world football, was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the winter window.
That move did not transpire, but it is understood that Spurs will return with a substantial offer at the end of the season.
"I have a very long contract here. I am tied to the club and I feel good in Brazil," he told Lancenet.
"But I dream of playing in Europe - it is the best stage for a footballer. I'd like to show off on another continent."
A host of European clubs are also reportedly monitoring proceedings.
