Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made it clear that they wish to sign Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Kulusevski joined Spurs on an 18-month loan deal from Juventus in January 2022 with a clause in the deal that meant Spurs would be obligated to buy the Swedish international should they qualify for the Champions League.
However, despite the fact that their hopes of a top-four finish are almost gone, a report in the Independent claims that Spurs are still keen to buy Kulusevski for the initially agreed fee of £30m.
Kulusevski enjoyed a productive six-month spell when joining halfway through last season, registering five goals and eight assists in 18 Premier League games.
This season has been more difficult for the Swede who has endured some injury issues, as well as a drop in form as the Spurs side have struggled as a whole during a tumultuous season.
The winger has scored only twice this season, and has had increased competition for a place in the side after the arrival of Richarlison from Everton.
