Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-jae has begun his journey to England amid rumours of a potential move to Everton this summer, according to a report.
The 25-year-old only made the move to the Turkish Super Lig in August 2021 from Beijing Guoan for around £2.5m, but enjoyed a consistent 2021-22 campaign with Fenerbahce, making 31 league appearances to help his side finish second.
As a result of the South Korean's form, Premier League duo Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have tabled bids ahead of a potential move in the upcoming transfer window, according to a report from Turkish outlet Sabah.
The report also suggests that the defender is now travelling to England to finalise a move to one of the top-flight outfits in the coming days.
A €20m (£17.1m) release clause is said to be included within his current contract at the Yellow Canaries, which looks likely to be triggered should the move take place.
After possessing the fifth-worst defensive record across the Premier League in the 2021-22 season, Everton narrowly avoided relegation from the top flight, and manager Frank Lampard appears keen to bolster his shaky back line during the summer. body check tags ::
