Director of football Fabio Paratici has suggested that Harry Kane will remain at Tottenham Hotspur for the 2021-22 campaign.
The England international is allegedly keen to take on a new challenge this summer, having failed to win trophies during his stint in North London.
However, chairman Daniel Levy has remained firm in his stance that the 27-year-old, who is tied to Spurs until 2024, is not for sale.
Paratici has now talked up the opportunity to work at the same club as Kane, a player that he regards as "one of the best strikers in the world".
Speaking to Sky Italia, Paratici said: "We want to keep Harry Kane at Tottenham, it's our goal. I've been lucky to see many top players at Juventus and I want to enjoy Harry Kane too. He's one of the best strikers in the world."
"I've not had any conversation with Harry Kane yet, just because I don't want to disturb our players during the Euros. He's an incredible striker."
Manchester City may have to bid in excess of £150m if they want to sign Kane during the summer transfer window. body check tags ::
