Gareth Bale has completed his return to Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.
The 31-year-old was frozen out at the Bernabeu under Zinedine Zidane last term and had been told that he did not feature in the Frenchman's plans for the upcoming campaign either.
Bale will now spend the 2020-21 season on loan at Spurs, where he spent six years from 2007 to 2013 before joining Madrid for £85m in a then-world record deal.
Bale, who will wear the number nine shirt, scored 55 goals in 203 games for Tottenham during his first spell at the club, winning the prestigious PFA Players' Player of the Year award twice in that time.
The Wales international completed a clean sweep of individual domestic awards in 2012-13, being named the PFA Player, Young Player, FWA Footballer and Premier League Player of the Year.
