Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelio Gomes has admitted he is likely to leave the club in January and has targeted a return to his native Brazil.
The eccentric stopper has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane following a series of high-profile mistakes and the summer arrival of Brad Friedel.
"It is very likely that I will leave London this coming winter. I will go back to Brazil on a loan deal, so I can come back to another club in Europe after that."
Reports have suggested that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp may look to use the keeper as part of an exchange deal with Internacional, which would see sought-after striker Leandro Damiao move the other way.
Gomes joined Spurs from PSV for £7.8m three years ago but has yet to make a league appearance for the North London outfit this campaign.
Tottenham face Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League this afternoon.
