Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish reportedly has his heart set on joining Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Grealish has been heavily linked with a move away from Villa Park during the current transfer window, although last week's £55m takeover of the club eased Villa's financial concerns and consequently reduced their need to sell their star asset.
Spurs had been stalling over making an official approach for the 22-year-old in an attempt to drive the price down due to Villa's money issues, but The Telegraph reports that they are now ready to make an offer.
Villa are still likely to sell Grealish in order to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, but they no longer need to let him go on the cheap and as such will demand a fee of more than £30m.
However, Grealish is understood to be keen on a move to Tottenham even if it means leaving his boyhood club, with the prospect of playing under Mauricio Pochettino and in the Champions League understood to be big factors in the midfielder's decision.
The likes of Fulham and Crystal Palace have also been credited with an interest in the player, but they are likely to miss out due to his desire to join Spurs instead.
