Championship side Ipswich Town are reportedly eager to sign striker Harry Kane on a loan basis.
The England Under-21 international is currently with Tottenham Hotspur, who also have Roberto Soldado, Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor on their books.
With that in mind, Spurs head coach Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly open to the prospect of allowing Kane to leave White Hart Lane on a temporary deal.
That has alerted Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy, who is keen to bolster his attacking options, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.
Kane has had previous loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall and Norwich City.
