Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not in need of January signings.
The Portuguese has led Spurs to four wins from five Premier League matches since replacing Mauricio Pochettino as head coach of the club one month ago.
The London outfit have been linked with a number of players ahead of the winter transfer window, but Mourinho is more than happy to oversee a quiet month at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
"I'm relaxed because I got this club exactly as I was expecting," Mourinho told Sky Sports News. "I expect to be asked about Daniel Levy saying we don't plan to spend a lot, and people to ask if I'm upset.
"Will that upset me? No. I knew it, he told me! Everything was crystal clear, no secrets in any of the club's plans, and this makes me happy.
"I don't like being at a club and being surprised by things. Here there are no surprises. Would I prefer to have £300m in January? I wouldn't. In January I don't need players."
Tottenham will welcome Chelsea on Sunday afternoon with the two clubs separated by just three points after a disappointing run of form for Frank Lampard's team.
