Italian giants Juventus have reportedly joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Denmark international netted two goals in five Euro 2020 appearances, including a semi-final free kick against England, drawing plenty of rumoured interest over the summer as a result.
Sampdoria kept hold of their midfielder though, and he has started each of their five Serie A games so far this campaign, as I Blucerchiati have collected five points.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Serie A giants Juventus have now set their sights on the 21-year-old, after Tottenham previously sat in pole position for his signature.
Following his move from Danish side Nordsjaelland, Damsgaard made 35 league appearances for Sampdoria last season, netting four goals and providing two assists.
They take on Juventus in Serie A on Sunday, giving the Old Lady a chance to further look at their reported target.
