Napoli have reportedly pulled out of a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier.
The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Italian outfit over the last few weeks.
Last week, it was claimed that the England international had agreed personal terms with Gli Azzurri ahead of a switch to the Serie A side in this summer's transfer window.
However, The Sun quotes a Napoli source as saying: "We will be pursuing a right back but will be going for a younger player, which is in line with the policy of the club."
Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the defender, who played a key role in England's run to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
Trippier has contributed one goal and five assists in 37 appearances for Spurs this season.
