Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has issued a "hands-off" warning to any clubs eager to recruit any of his players ahead of transfer deadline day.
Victor Wanyama, one of the Saints' key players and reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, was not selected for his side's 3-0 win against Norwich City as he was deemed not "mentally and physically good enough to play".
Speaking after the game, Koeman told BBC Sport: "[Sadio] Mane is the type of player who makes a difference, he's an important player for us and one we won't sell.
"Victor Wanyama is a key player and for him the answer is the same as for Sadio. They will stay at Southampton, I'm 100% sure about that."
Southampton have lost a number of key players in recent years to other Premier League clubs, including Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Morgan Schneiderlin.
