Leeds United have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth as a potential transfer target, providing that they earn promotion to the Premier League.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, it remains unclear whether any clubs will be allowed to make the step up to the top flight next season.

However, sitting seven points clear of third place in the Championship standings, Leeds are currently having to prepare for several different scenarios.

According to Football Insider, this has included Foyth being regarded as a possible addition if the Yorkshire giants are able to return to the Premier League.

Over recent days, Foyth has been heavily linked with a switch to Barcelona, who are having to find solutions when it comes to balancing the books at Camp Nou.

Foyth, without a first-team outing since December, is said to be open to offers ahead of the next transfer window.
