Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has reportedly emerged as a January target for Real Madrid.
With his contract due to expire at the end of the season, Eriksen is able to hold discussions with foreign clubs at the beginning of 2020 with regards to a free transfer next summer.
However, according to Marca, Real are prepared to do business in January, providing that they can reach a deal with Spurs.
The Premier League outfit are ready to hold negotiations with any interested club as they bid to avoid losing one of their key men without receiving a transfer fee.
The report adds that Los Blancos may wait until the transfer window officially opens before making a formal approach to the North London side.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Eriksen has still made six starts and five substitute outings in all competitions during the current campaign.
