Manchester City are reportedly prepared to make one final move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane before the end of the transfer window.
The England international made his first appearance of the season on Sunday, featuring during the closing stages as Spurs edged out Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
However, the 28-year-old continues to be heavily linked with a switch to Man City, who will allegedly have to pay in excess of £150m to wrap up a deal for the frontman.
According to The Telegraph, City are keen to hold discussions with their Spurs counterparts this week as they bid to bring a positive resolution to the saga.
The report says that Daniel Levy remains insistent that Kane will not be allowed to depart the North London outfit this month.
City have also made little progress in their attempts to offload a high-profile member of their squad, something which threatens to hinder their effort to sign the Three Lions skipper.
