Manchester City are reportedly prepared to offer Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to Tottenham Hotspur in exchange for star striker Harry Kane.
Beaten Champions League finalists City have been tipped to move for the England international this summer as they look to strengthen their forward line.
Spurs are reluctant to sell a player with three more years still to run on his contract, however, especially to a direct Premier League rival.
According to The Sun, City believe that they can persuade Tottenham to cash in by offering a couple of attackers to soften the blow of losing Kane.
Even if the Lilywhites were interested in signing Sterling and Jesus, City would still have to pay a cash sum on top to make up the £150m Spurs are after.
Jesus scored nine goals and assisted four more in the Premier League in 2020-21, while Sterling was directly involved in 17 goals in the season just gone.
That compares to an incredible 23 goals and 14 assists for Golden Boot winner Kane in 35 top-flight appearances.
