Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly had an offer for Loic Remy rejected by Marseille, just hours after Andre Villas-Boas ruled out a move for the France forward.
The Spurs manager earlier dismissed rumours that chairman Daniel Levy had flown to Marseille to complete a £16m deal and insisted that any transfer for the 25-year-old was off the table.
However, Spurs have apparently reignited their interest in Remy, but have seen their offer turned down by the nine-time French champions, according to Sky Sports News.
Chelsea and Manchester City are also thought to be monitoring Remy, who is free to leave this transfer window for the right price.
