Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nelsen has finally completed his move to Tottenham Hotspur on a reported six-month contract.
The New Zealand international has made the switch to White Hart Lane after the player's agent confirmed that a deal was in place yesterday.
The 34-year-old's contract at Ewood Park was cancelled, which has allowed the defender to leave the struggling Premier League side on a free transfer.
Harry Redknapp decided to make a late swoop for Nelsen after Sebastien Bassong left the North London side on a temporary move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Nelsen departs Rovers after seven years and 200 appearances for the club.
