Ryan Nelsen has been reunited with his former manager Mark Hughes, this time at Queens Park Rangers, after passing a medical to join the west London club.
Nelsen played under Hughes at Blackburn Rovers when the Welshman signed him in 2005, and the New Zealand international is pleased to work with Hughes again.
"[Working with Hughes] was a big factor. I know Mark and his staff really well, and they all really helped me when I was first over here in England, so it's nice to go full circle towards the end of my career. Hopefully, I can still help them out," he told The Press.
Nelsen made eight appearances for Tottenham Hotspur last season after joining from Blackburn on a short-term deal.
