Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly confident of completing a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli before Monday's transfer deadline.
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is determined to land the 24-year-old, who has fallen out of favour under current manager Jose Mourinho this season.
The Daily Mirror reports that Tottenham will not allow Alli to leave permanently, although a loan deal remains a possibility, especially if Mourinho's side can find a replacement first.
Spurs are understood to have rejected three bids from the French champions for the midfielder last summer, however a deal to be agreed before 11pm on February 1 seems more likely.
Alli, who has three years left on his current contract, is determined to play more regularly during the second half of the season and hopes to break back into Gareth Southgate's England squad before next summer's Euro 2020.
The former MK Dons man has played just 74 minutes in the Premier League this campaign and has been omitted from Tottenham's matchday squad in 11 of their 18 top-flight games.
