Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly moved to the head of the queue for Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho.
The 26-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, but it is understood that the player's wage demands scuppered the move.
Spurs were expected to return in January, but according to Goal.com, PSG are preparing a record bid for the Portuguese international.
It is understood that the midfielder will be offered £150,000 a week to make the move to France, a wage that Spurs will not be able to match.
Moutinho has made 48 caps for Portugal.
