West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has revealed that the club have not received any offers for striker Saido Berahino.
The England Under-21 international has been linked with a move away from The Hawthorns this January, with Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be lining up a £20m bid for his services.
Speculation is sure to intensify in the coming days after Berahino's four-goal showing against Gateshead in the FA Cup this afternoon, but new Baggies boss Pulis is adamant that he can keep hold of his key man.
"The club has had no offers for Saido Berahino and I've had one day's training with him, and I'm looking forward to working with him for however long I am here as manager," he told BBC Sport after his side's 7-0 victory.
"There is always going to be transfer speculation and you can see why. He has great pace, great balance and scores goals and has the potential to be a very good player.
"But when I came in here the chairman had not received any offer for him and we will try our damnedest to try and improve him."
Berahino has now scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for Albion in all competitions this season.
