Queens Park Rangers are hoping to bring Tottenham Hotspur defender Sebastien Bassong to Loftus Road in the coming days as part of a late spending spree.
The newly-promoted side could sign Bassong and Spurs teammate Steven Pienaar for a combined price of £5m, reports The People.
R's boss Mark Hughes also has his sights set on wantaway Wigan Athletic striker Hugo Rodallega.
The Colombian's current contract at the DW Stadium expires at the end of the season.
