Real Madrid are reportedly keen for Mauricio Pochettino to become their next manager, while the capital giants are also eyeing a move for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen.
Pochettino continues to cut a frustrated figure at Tottenham, and it thought that the Argentine is considering his options following a difficult start to the 2019-20 campaign.
Eriksen, meanwhile, will see his contract with Spurs expire at the end of the season, and the Denmark international is said to be determined to join Los Blancos having been linked for much of the summer.
According to The Mirror, Madrid will first attempt to agree a pre-contract with Eriksen before moving for Pochettino as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane.
Manchester United, though, are said to also be eyeing a similar swoop with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's position as head coach under the microscope following a poor start to the season.
Zidane's frustrations at the Bernabeu are believed to stem from his club's failure to sign Paul Pogba and sell Gareth Bale during the summer transfer window.
