Harry Redknapp rules out Gary Cahill move

Gary Cahill will not be joining Tottenham Hotspur, according to manager Harry Redknapp.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Gary Cahill will not be joining the club.

Spurs have been linked with the Bolton Wanderers defender throughout the day but the two clubs were unable to agree a fee.

"We've been trying to sign Gary Cahill but couldn't get there in the end," Redknapp told Sky Sports News

"We've been trying all day and [chairman Daniel Levy's] been trying hard but we couldn't get there."

Redknapp also revealed that Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton are currently in discussions over moves to Aston Villa.
