Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has denied plans to sign in-form Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes in the January transfer window.
Rhodes, 21, has been in prolific goalscoring form so far this season, netting 27 goals in 22 matches, and was watched by a whole host of scouts, including Joe Jordan from Spurs, in Friday's 6-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers.
Rhodes scored five goals in that match, one of a number of hattricks the striker has already achieved this season.
However, Redknapp insists that the young striker is not on Tottenham's radar.
"No, he's a great player but not for Tottenham," he explained.
"We haven't made any offers. It's difficult, we've already got a good squad and there's no need to bring anyone in unless they can go straight in and improve the team."
Spurs are currently six points behind league leaders Manchester City with a game in hand.
