Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave this summer.
The Spaniard was signed from Valencia for £26m in 2013, but he has struggled to justify the heavy price tag and has netted just 16 times for the club.
Soldado was increasingly left on the bench in the second half of last season, and The Guardian claims that the 30-year-old wants to move on in the hunt for regular football.
Spurs are confident that they will be able to sell him for a decent fee, with several Spanish sides interested.
Soldado's fellow forwards Emmanuel Adebayor and Harry Kane have also been linked with moves away.
