Tottenham Hotspur reportedly intend to push ahead with an offer for Adrien Rabiot after the French midfielder rejected a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
Rabiot is now into the final eight months of his existing deal and is therefore allowed to speak to non-French clubs at the turn of the year.
The 23-year-old is said to have turned down numerous offers from PSG to stay on beyond the end of the season, leading to rumoured interest from the likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester City.
Spurs have also been linked in the past and, according to The Mirror, Mauricio Pochettino wants the club to table a concrete offer in January as he is desperate for another option in central midfield.
Speaking in September, PSG boss Thomas Tuchel urged Rabiot - who has been at the Parc des Princes since 2010 - to sign a new contract.
