Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking for as much as £100m from Real Madrid for winger Gareth Bale.
A recent report claimed that Spurs have rejected a record-breaking offer of £86m from the Spanish giants for the Welshman.
Bale is believed to be unhappy at the rejection, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is looking for £100m before he would even consider entering into discussions over a sale, according to The People.
Madrid are said to want Bale on a six-year deal with wages of around the £150,000 per week, but Spurs are refusing to allow the player to speak with the nine-time European champions while their offer remains well below the £100m figure.
Bale enjoyed an impressive campaign for Spurs last season, winning both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards en route to finishing with 21 goals in the Premier League.
