Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly urged Tottenham Hotspur chiefs to go all out in their pursuit of Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The Lilywhites are in the market for more recruits after spending a club-record sum to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon on Tuesday.
Diario de Sevilla suggests that Pochettino is desperate to add Lo Celso to his squad before the transfer window shuts next month, but Betis are playing hardball in discussions over a fee.
Betis supposedly want around £67m for the Argentina international - roughly double what Spurs were originally willing to pay.
Under pressure from Pochettino, however, chairman Daniel Levy is now expected to return with an improved offer.
