Danny Rose has hinted that he would be willing to turn his loan move from Tottenham Hotspur to Sunderland into a permanent switch.
The 22-year-old joined the Black Cats last summer on a deal that will expire in May.
However, once that contract is up, the full-back has suggested that he would be open to the possibility of staying at the Stadium of Light.
"I feel as if I can't do much wrong here. It feels like home. When my mum and dad come here everyone at the stadium knows their names and they make them feel really welcome," Rose told the Northern Echo.
"Whenever I go anywhere, the fans go out of their way to try to speak to me. It's brilliant and I've never had that before. I would be lucky if I could get that anywhere else, playing for another team in the league.
"When I was at Spurs I was not playing very often, I was on the bench a lot more than I am here, but my dad just wanted to be at every game I would be involved in."
Rose has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Sunderland this campaign.
