Tottenham Hotspur have announced that defender Davinson Sanchez has penned a new six-year contract.
Last summer, Spurs reportedly paid Ajax a fee in the region of £42m to sign the young centre-back ahead of a number of top European clubs.
The 21-year-old has gone on to make a total of 41 appearances in all competitions during his first season in England, which includes eight starts in the Champions League.
Spurs have now decided to reward the Colombian international, who has agreed to extend his deal with the North London outfit until 2024.
The development comes a day after the Premier League side revealed that Kyle Walker-Peters had signed a fresh contract.
