Serge Aurier has reportedly rejected the chance to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Spartak Moscow.
The Ivory Coast international was a key player for Spurs last season but has fallen down the pecking order at the start of the 2020-21 campaign due to the arrival of Matt Doherty from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A recent report claimed that Spartak were the favourites for the 27-year-old, who has less than two years remaining on his contract with Jose Mourinho's side.
According to Football Insider, Aurier held talks with the Russian outfit but ultimately decided that he was not interested in a switch, leaving Spurs to consider alternative clubs for the defender.
AC Milan have also previously been credited with an interest in a player who has turned out on 83 occasions for his current side since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017.
Aurier has been an unused substitute in the Premier League thus far this season.
