Shakhtar Donetsk have rejected Tottenham Hotspur's bid of £11.9m for attacking midfielder Willian.
Spurs are keen to sign the 24-year-old this summer, but the Ukrainian club's CEO Sergei Palkin says that the Premier League club need to increase their offer.
"Mr. [Daniel] Levy, the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur FC, personally flew to Donetsk to negotiate over Willian," Palkin told the Shakhtar's official website.
"But his latest offer was €15m (£11.9m), which we, of course, did not accept.
"Levy, by the way, hinted that besides Willian, [Tottenham manager Andre] Villas-Boas was interested in Douglas Costa and Fernandinho, but he mentioned that just casually, without any specifics."
Willian joined Shakhtar from Corinthians in 2007 and has made 202 appearances in the Ukrainian league, scoring 31 goals.
