Striker Clinton Njie has left Lyon to sign a long-term contract with Tottenham Hotspur, subject to international clearance and a work permit.
On Friday, Roberto Soldado departed White Hart Lane for La Liga outfit Villarreal, leaving just Harry Kane and out-of-favour Emmanuel Adebayor as Mauricio Pochettino's options in attack.
However, the Argentine has wasted little time in strengthening that department with the acquisition of Njie, who has signed a five-year deal in North London.
The 22-year-old leaves Lyon having scored eight goals in 43 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, while he has also netted six times in 11 games for Cameroon.
The fee being paid by Spurs has not been disclosed by either club.
