Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring Valencia forward Paco Alcacer with a view to signing the Spaniard in January.
According to The People, manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking for a striker to lead the line at White Hart Lane as he remains unconvinced by both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.
Pochettino is believed to be a fan of Alcacer and is desperate to land an attacker in January after losing out on Danny Welbeck in August.
Indeed, Spurs may be able to secure the 21-year-old for as little as £15m due to a release clause in his contract.
Valencia, who are now owned by Singapore businessman Peter Lim, are still looking to get Alcacer to commit his long-term future to Los Che.
