Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly worried that they will not be able to match Manchester City's offer for Lille playmaker Eden Hazard.
A host of Premier League clubs, as well as a number of outfits around Europe have been linked with the 21-year-old.
While Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has been vocal about his desire to clinch the Belgium international, Man City manager Roberto Mancini was reportedly scouting Hazard on a recent trip to France.
It is believed that Tottenham have requested to be kept in the loop of City's negotiations with the player, according to the Daily Mail.
Lille are understood to be looking for a bid in the region of £35m for the forward.
