Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Fernandes is currently spending his first season in Portugal's top flight having previously caught the eye at Udinese and Sampdoria, and the 23-year-old has impressed with 12 goals being scored in 36 appearances in all competitions.
The player has been rewarded with four appearances for Portugal since November and according to A Bola, Spurs have taken an interest in a summer approach.
The North London outfit are well stacked in the centre of the park, but boss Mauricio Pochettino allegedly sees Fernandes as one of his top targets ahead of next season.
However, Fernandes still has over four years remaining on his contract at Sporting, while his release clause stands at £87m.
